A Note from the Artist
I had most of a roll of film to use up left over from a photo project and I sure am glad I snapped these shots. The work photographed in color reads so differently than it does in these black and white film photos. In a way I feel these images capture the piece more the way it felt in real life. To be standing underneath its quiet suspended form it felt almost unaware of the viewer. It was so quiet and still. Sculpture has a way of becoming a whole new piece when photographed and I like what these images have to say.
